Has anyone successfully completed the R2AK in a Scamp?

A SCAMP has completed leg one (PT to Victoria) multiple times. I'm not aware of one even signing up to go all the way to AK.

Its not a boat I would choose for the R2AK either. But the race was completed with a SUP, so I thought why not a SCAMP.

How long did it take the SCAMP that completed leg one to finish it?

I believe that in general the SCAMPs have taken a day and a half. The reason, excluding the times weather made staying in port the prudent choice, is get caught by the tide. Because of SCAMP's size just can't go fast enough to get across strait before the current turns.

I believe most SCAMPs have routed along the Washington side of the strait and then when current changes stop, say at Port Angeles, and the next current/wind window cross to Victoria.
