Hey racers and race fans,
After closely following the 2015 race and attending the blazer party at the WBF, I'm settling in to the warm embrace of obsession with putting together a team for the 2016 race. I'm looking to base a team out of Portland, Oregon. I have a couple of boats in mind/lined up but I'm open to ideas. Hit me up if you're interested.

Sleek looking boat, not a lot of comfort for a couple of weeks on the inside passage, but certainly adequate (and if winds are good, perhaps less than a week). I see from your post (2 multi-hulls available) that it's a Gougeon 34 . . . What speed do you expect rowing?

So, that's quite a sleek boat. I hate to admit it, but I've never run a multi-hull, but it looks exciting. I wouldn't mind dropping by to see them sometime this winter if you want to PM me and let me know where you're located. I would have to say generally that I'm leaning towards a monohull. I've got a couple of boats that I'm following up on now.

she is 34x26 ,under 2000lbs with a carbon mast, she will sail well in a 4 knot wind. there is nothing wrong with a monohull, the question is still do you want to win or just finish.
