Looking to rent/loan boat for first 40 miles

Hello,
I am planning to come to Port Townsend for the R2AK from Fairbanks, AK. This year will be a reconnaissance mission to learn more about the race with the goal of doing the full race next year. Therefore, I will only be doing the first 40 miles this year. This biggest hurdle is finding a boat. I traditionally use sea kayak or zodiacs (I do have a bit of of inside passage experience) in the ocean and would like to try the row/sailboat option. I would be up for any suggestions on boats one might have to loan me. I would consider a buyback option due to insurance problems.
